Commonwealth Games England Grosvenor House Gala Dinner

In a bid to raise funds for England's Commonwealth Games Team, CloudTEN was drafted in to organise a glamorous Gala Dinner at London's Grosvenor House Hotel

Monday 16th June was a superbly busy day for CloudTEN, but it was also rather glamorous and fun as we pulled off a stellar 'Indian Summer' Gala Dinner in the Great Room Grosvenor House, Park Lane in aid of England's Commonwealth Games Team heading off to Delhi in October 2010.

With decor featuring an Indian Marketplace and sequins galore, the guests arrived resplendent in their Bollywood outfits and sat down to delicious Indian inspired meal of Chicken Tikka, Lamb Cutlets with Sag and Rice, and Kaffir Lime Creme Brulee...

Entertainment was provided by comedian Hardeep Singh Kohli, authentic Indian Dancers from the Neasden Temple and singer songwriter Gabriella Cilmi also popped by to do a set stright after performing at the O2!

An auction featuring prizes from F1 Racing, Jamie Oliver, Tim Henman, Virgin Airlines and many more, ensured that the guests dug deep with donations for the England CGE Team.

As former Commonwealth Athletes, Dame Kelly Holmes, Jonathan Edwards and Karen Pickering took turns hosting the event and brought a sporting flavour to the evening's proceedings!
